Appointment Policy

We understand how frustrating it can be to wait in a noisy crowded lobby. Here at TAC we make it a priority to ensure that all of our patients and clients get the proper care and attention that they deserve. To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, for this reason, occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Your visit is extremely important to us which is why we make a sincere effort to see each client on time.

We understand that, for your pet, coming to the vet may be scary. Even though we take every opportunity to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be nervous around new people, new surroundings, and other pets. We pride ourselves on treating every patient as if they were our own and we will make every effort to ensure they are as comfortable as possible during their visit. Understanding that every patient is different we ask that certain measures of restraint are taken. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.

Thank you for your interest in our clinic! Contact us today to set up your pet's next appointment.

Preparing Your Pet for Surgery or Dental

To help prepare your pet for their surgical or dental procedure, we ask that you please refrain from feeding them past midnight (this includes treats!). You're free to give your pet water until the morning of the procedure.

On Tuesdays, please drop your pet off between 8:30AM and 9:00AM. On Wednesday and Thursday, drop-off hours are between 7:30AM and 8:00AM.

We will notify you upon completion of the procedure and will update you on the status of your pet. Please give a few hours of recovery time following the procedure before returning to pick your pet up (we will advise you on the best time and are happy to be flexible with your schedule).

Your pet will be returned to you with go-home instructions on how to properly care for them following their procedure, as well as  medication is necessary. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled around your convenience to bring your pet back for their post-procedure check-up.
