Katie completed her undergraduate studies at John Carroll University and obtained her veterinary degree at The Ohio State University. She completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. She has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.

In 2013, Katie left her current veterinary position to fulfill her dream of opening her own veterinary clinic in Tremont. It has been a wild ride but she feels beyond blessed to have this amazing opportunity with the best business partners,  associates, and staff. 

Katie has two children who keep her busy when she is not working. She has a rescue mutt named Widget that she adores. Her hobbies include playing soccer, exercising, and reading. She loves to be outside and active. Katie and her spouse (Matt) love to travel.
