Dr. Sutherland grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA but often spent holidays with family on the west side of Cleveland. Having lived here for 20+ years, there is nowhere else she would call home. Previously, she received her BA from Mount Holyoke College in 2003 and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Public Health from The Ohio State University in 2006. She initially centered her career on public health and zoonotic disease research working locally, nationally, and internationally to protect against human and animal diseases. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from The Ohio State University. Swayed by the joy of clinical practice, Dr. Sutherland particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery, dentistry and preventative medicine. She greatly appreciates the close relationship she has with her patients’ families and loves helping her patients live long and healthy lives.
She lives in Rocky River with her husband and their two energetic sons. Their dogs Oberon and Einstein and one-eyed cat Polyphemus round out the pack. |
