Routine wellness exams are important. We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness care has rewards for both pets and owners. During your pet's wellness exam, we will perform a physical assessment, checking your dog or cat from nose to tail.
- Any recommended vaccinations and preventative care will be discussed/performed.
- We may perform a diagnostic workup, which may include blood, fecal, and urine tests to check for parasites and underlying diseases.
- We will check your pet's teeth and may recommend dental care.
- When your pet is nearing their senior years, we may recommend additional diagnostics to help monitor for senior diseases and help prevent/treat them.
- Wellness services we offer include but are not limited to administering vaccinations, testing for heartworm/tick borne diseases, testing for FELV/FIV in cats, drawing blood, implanting microchips, and running fecal samples.
