Heartworm Disease Testing

Picture
Heartworm is a parasite that is, most commonly, found in dogs. The worm is transmitted to the animal through the bite of a mosquito. After the mosquito has infected the host, it will take approximately 6 months for the parasite to fully develop within the heart of the animal.

We provide heartworm testing to ensure that your animal will stay as happy and healthy as possible. By giving your dog an annual heartworm test with their yearly exam you are making sure that any medication for heartworm preventative is safe to administer to your pet.

In addition to providing heartworm testing, we also offer a wide variety of options for heartworm preventative to keep your pet happy and heartworm free!

Call us today to set up an appointment to have your dog tested for heartworm!
